We are currently only shipping within New Zealand and some main Australian centres. If you are an international customer please contact us and in some cases we may be able to help. All our prices are based on New Zealand Dollar and include NZ Goods and Services Tax.
Our shipping prices are based on the weight of each product and are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of the cart contents and the destination post code. Every product in our store has weight specifications (including packaging box). Please check the specific product page for details about the weight.
Most Mr Positives orders are processed the same day that payment for the order is confirmed (if the order is received before 12pm). For most of our items we do not require additional day(s) for admin time to process your order and in most cases will dispatch your goods, once payment is confirmed, to our courier same day.
Small percentage of our products have longer shipping time and labelled accordingly on the specific product page. Such as some of our speciality order items that can take between 7-10 days to be shipped.
In most cases one your order is passed on to our courier partner, they will deliver your goods overnight North Island and between 24-48 hours in South Island. There may be variables outside of Mr Positive's control that may play a part in your delivery time, such as; rural address' and dangerous goods products.
Special Shipping Instructions
Mr Positive cannot provide special shipping instructions to your local courier driver. This is including and not limited to exact delivery times or very detailed instructions about delivery location.
This is as a result of the volume of orders picked up daily and that the courier services network is unable to attach specific instruction to individual parcels. However we can provide tracking details so that you can contact the courier company directly should you have specific requirements around delivery time or finding your location requires special instructions.
Mr Positive can ship to any address in New Zealand. NZ Post charges all courier companies and freight forwarders a rural surcharge for all rural deliveries. This is the same surcharge that Mr Positive pays for rural deliveries, irrespective of the package size. Our charge for any rural delivery is a flat rate of $4 (on top of the shipping cost calculated by total weight). The rural delivery charge is worked out based on the delivery address post code. If you have a rural post code our checkout system will automatically add $4 to the shipping charge and label the shipping charge as "Rural Delivery".

Rural deliveries can take an additional 3-5 days to arrive at their destination. This is as a result of the parcel being passed from our main courier to NZ Post who is managing delivery to the designated rural address. Mr Positive will dispatch your good the same day that the payment for the order is confirmed (if order is received before 12pm).
Dangerous Good Deliveries
Some of our battery products, particularly the automotive and marine flooded lead acid batteries contain dangerous and spillable chemicals. These batteries require extra care and process to ensure safety of the product and people handling the product along its route. This requires us to use a dangerous goods certified carrier. This process takes longer than standard courier delivery and can add up to 2-4 days to the delivery time. Mr Positive will dispatch your good the same day that the payment for the order is confirmed (if order is received before 12pm).
PO Box Deliveries
We only use Track and Trace couriers nationwide, as a result, we cannot deliver to a PO Box. Please only provide a physical address for your goods to be sent to. If you supply a PO Box address, we will not be able to process and ship your goods until we have a physical address to send to.
International Shipping (AUS Only)
We currently only ship to New Zealand and Australia. We do not ship to any address outside of NZ and Australia.
If you are an Australian customer you can expect your goods to depart our warehouse within 2-3 days. A small portion of Mr Positives products are marked as "Specialty Order". These products may take longer to be sent. If you would like to know if a product you are interested in is a specialty order item, please check the product page under "Availability".
Australia bound orders are sent via tracked TNT express service. As a result there are some rules around what can be sent via air freight and some battery chemistries are prohibited from this.
If you are an Australian customer you should expect your delivery between 4-7 days after it has departed our warehouse. Mr Positive will email you once the item has been marked as "Shipped" with a TNT tracking number that you can use to track your consignment on the TNT website.
Please note that the receiver of goods is liable for any import taxes, local GST, duty and general Australian customs administration charges should they apply.
Pre-Arranged Local Pickup
Mr Positive offers local pickup for selected items from its Auckland offices. Local pickup orders are only available if pre-arranged with one of our sales representatives. Please note that all local pickup orders are required to be paid for and processed through the Mr Positive website. We do not offer eftpos facilities or pay and collect at our offices.
If you have already confirmed a local pickup option with one of our sales representatives, add the item to cart and progress through checkout as you normally would when shopping on www.mrpositive.co.nz. During the checkout process select "local pickup $0" from one of the available shipping options. Once you have paid and completed the order, you are able to pick the item up from our Auckland offices.

Free Shipping Promotion
Mr Positive Free shipping promotion only applies for standard size items to mainland North Island and South Island address' only.
Mr Positives shipping price is generally calculated based on the destination post code and the total weight of all the items in your shopping cart. This includes rural delivery surcharges. Please ensure that you provide the correct post code. In processing your order we check post codes and if we discover that you have used incorrect post code we will either contact you for correct shipping charges or cancel the order all together.
Incorrect shipping details provided will cause unnecessary delays for your order. Please ensure you select the right post code. If you are unsure what your post code is, you can find out on the NZ Post website by entering your street address.
Chatham Island Deliveries
Mr Positive does ship to the Chatham Islands. We courier your goods to Wellington and then from Wellington to Chatham Island using Chatham Island Freight. Our courier charges a minimum surcharge of $40 for any parcels being sent to Chatham Island.
If you already have existing arrangements with Chatham Freight, we can ship your goods to Wellington care of Chatham Freight and quote your account name or number. In this case, Mr Positive would only charge our normal shipping fee and no additional surcharge will be required.

Great Barrier Deliveries
Mr Positive only charges local Auckland courier fee for all deliveries to Great Barrier. Any receiver of the goods on Great Barrier will incur an additional fee by Great Barrier Airlines. This will depend on final weight, size and any pre arrangement the receiver already has with Great Barrier Airlines. Mr Positive cannot accept Great Barrier Airline charges on your behalf or negotiate a rate. If you receive goods on Great Barrier regularly, chances are you already have arrangements with Great Barrier Airlines.
