You may return a new and unopened item within 7 days of receiving it. Mr Positive will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error, such as you receiving an incorrect item. You should expect to receive your refund within 3 business days of us receiving the item.
If you've received the wrong product or it has been damaged in transit please contact us within 5 days of receiving it. If you do not contact us within 5 days, then it will be taken that you agree that the correct goods have been delivered and that they are in good order (this doesn't affect any Consumer Guarantees Act rights).
If you need to return an item, contact us by phone or email, or simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We will notify you of your refund via e-mail once we've received and processed the returned item.
Lipo Batteries (as well as other batteries) are considered a "consumable item”. This means that once you use it, the item is no longer classified as new and cannot be sold as "new" to another customer. This includes, discharging, charging or changing the main connector (whether this is done by us on your request or you have changed the connector yourself). If the battery is cosmetically brand new with no marks or wear, but it has been charged or discharged, it is no longer classified as a new and returnable item.
Returning a battery is much like purchasing an ink cartridge, opening the packaging, printing a couple of pages and then looking at returning it. It is very hard for us to then be able to sell this item again.
Please ensure that you select your battery product carefully. We have taken a lot of time to provide you with as much information as possible, as well as accurate physical dimensions of the pack and total battery weight. We are currently only shipping within New Zealand. If you are an international customer please contact us and in some cases we may be able to help. All our prices are based on New Zealand Dollar and include NZ Goods and Services Tax.
Our shipping prices are based on the weight of each product and are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of the cart contents and the destination post code. Every product in our store has weight specifications (including packaging box). Please check the specific product page for details about the weight.
All Mr Positives orders are processed the same day that payment for the order is confirmed (if the order is received before 12pm). We do not require additional day(s) for admin time to process your order and in most cases will dispatch your goods, once payment is confirmed, to our courier same day. In most cases our courier partners will deliver your goods overnight North Island and within 48 hours in South Island. There may be variables outside of Mr Positive's control that may play a part in your delivery time, such as; rural address' and dangerous goods products.
Mr Positive can ship to any address in New Zealand. NZ Post charges all courier companies and freight forwarders a rural surcharge for all rural deliveries. This is the same surcharge that Mr Positive pays for rural deliveries, irrespective of the package size. Our charge for any rural delivery is a flat rate of $4 (on top of the shipping cost calculated by total weight). The rural delivery charge is worked out based on the delivery address post code. If you have a rural post code our checkout system will automatically add $4 to the shipping charge and label the shipping charge as "Rural Delivery".

Rural deliveries can take an additional 3-5 days to arrive at their destination. This is as a result of the parcel being passed from our main courier to NZ Post who is managing delivery to the designated rural address. Mr Positive will dispatch your good the same day that the payment for the order is confirmed (if order is received before 12pm).
Some of our battery products, particularly the automotive and marine flooded lead acid batteries contain dangerous and spillable chemicals. These batteries require extra care and process to ensure safety of the product and people handling the product along its route. This requires us to use a dangerous goods certified carrier. This process takes longer than standard courier delivery and can add up to 2-4 days to the delivery time. Mr Positive will dispatch your good the same day that the payment for the order is confirmed (if order is received before 12pm).
We only use Track and Trace couriers nationwide, as a result, we cannot deliver to a PO Box. Please only provide a physical address for your goods to be sent to. If you supply a PO Box address, we will not be able to process and ship your goods until we have a physical address to send to.
