DC speed controllers are typically used to slow down motors or dim lights. Typically these would employ resistance circuits and as a result are very inefficient.

This DC speed controller utelises pulse width modulation (PWD). This allows the user to vary the output from 0-100% and retain very high efficiency. When used with motors this ensures full torque is available at very low speed and the motor won't shudder at start-up.

This speed controller module operates off any 12v power source and can handle currents up to 8a. The unit is splash proof and is suitable for marine environments.
